The Chinese tech company ZTE agreed to plead guilty and pay a 1.2 billion fine, due to violation of the U.S. sanctions on Iran and North Korea.

ZTE is being accused – amongst others – of making shipments of sensitive equipment, including routers, microprocessors and servers, to North Korea. It is also being accused of building a telecommunications network in Iran using U.S. manufactured equipment.
