Six former executives – all sacked – of camera and medical equipment firm Olympus have been ordered by a Tokyo court to pay over half a billion dollars in damages after the discovering of a massive accounting fraud.
The six have been found guilty of concealing losses of over 1,7 billion dollar, one of the biggest financial frauds in Japan’s history.
